This traditional Indian savory snack is especially prepared during festivals or served as tea-time snack. This savory is originally made out of rice flour base. Raw rice is first washed and soaked in water for about 8hours. Drained rice is then carefully air-dried ensuring some presence of moisture and followed by grinding to a smooth dry powder.
