Description

Garlic murukku, commonly known as the all-purpose fried snack, is made with rice and gram flour, adding a tasteful twist to the regular murukku. With a mouth-watering traditional recipe that can make anyone swoon, this authentic treat is one of the kind. Murukku is typically made from rice and urad dal flour. For garlic murukku, minced garlic is added to the mix. A flour mix is then added to water, salt, chili powder, asafoetida, sesame seeds, and cumin seeds, depending on how they are utilized. As the mix is mixed into the dough, it is shaped into spiral or coil shapes by hand or by using a mould, which is then extruded into the final shape. Once deep-fried in vegetable oil, these delicious spirals are then served.
